Services

NSC has several capacity services both offshore and onshore.

Transit service

• Capacity service between to onshore locations including local tails

 

Offshore service

• Capacity service from an offshore installation connected to the NSC network and to an onshore location including local tail

 

Offshore short term service

• Short term capacity service offshore or offshore to onshore for a limited period e.g. in connection with drilling activities or other short term activities

The customer can choose to administrate the local tail as an alternative to have NSC as “the Single point of contact”.

 

Customised services

• Design, install and operate customised solutions such as to build new fibre optic infrastructure from the NSC POPs to new offshore installations and integrate them to the NSC resilient fibre optic network.

 

Note: If the Service Termination Point is not equal with NSC’s PoP and local tails cannot be provided with a quality level matching NSC’s requirements, the guarantees are only valid between the geographical points specified under “Quality Guarantees” in the Service Order Form.

Availability excludes any agreed planned outage/maintenance time.

Service downtime will not be included when the failure arises from fault caused by the:

• Customer apparatus/equipment
• Acts or omissions of the Customer
• Customer’s agents and /or subcontractors ( except where such acts or omissions are in the normal use of the circuits )
• Planned outages
• Force Majeure events
