North Sea Communications’ (NSC) fibre optic network has major PoPs in both Stavanger Norway and London connecting UK and Norway/Scandinavia directly across the North Sea.

This is the one and only fibre optic cable connecting the UK with Scandinavia without going across Europe mainland.

Large capacities
NSC has large capacities available for the telecom carrier market and other large businesses which will have connection between the major global London Telehouse 1 telecom hub and Norway/Scandinavia.

The capacity services available are from 100Mbit up to nX10Gbit DWDM capacity. At all our PoPs there are interconnections with other telecom operators both local and global suppliers.

Low latency
By crossing the North Sea, NSC can provide latency within the range of 13ms (RTD). This is the fastest route between UK and Norway/Scandinavia.

Reliable
The NSC vision is to provide the customers with reliable capacity. A fully resilient network is an important part of our strategy and results in up-time of nearly 100% over the years (regularly maintenance not included in the statistics).
